As Xax Innovations, NOVA, and Department Omega scramble to prepare, Sebastian's intuition turns into realization. Ripping the veil of space-time again, Cerebrus arrives back in the Earth dimension with Psychocide in hand. But, to both their surprise, the creature of nightmare and madness has manifest in the flesh of his true form.
The Misfits' "Hybrid Moments" is our suggested listening for this scene. As always, thanks for reading, commenting, and voting! See you next week

Glad you added the music recommendation! The song is appropriate for a mad position and his captive un-winged psychic demon.

I did have some dialog for the page but the more I looked at it, the more I thought it best to let the images do the talking.

Well now. You did say at the dr. Klein's office that he was a reformed super villain, but I pictured something a bit more low-level than this. Like, actually able to rip Psychocide out of the astral realm and into his own. Sans wings.

What has become of the criminal justice system. I love that this is a big deal to others as well though, like we saw on the last page. And what the hell did he do to Xax!? Can't wait to see where this goes.

I know that there may be a bit of confusion caused by the change in art styles over the years. So, I'd like to mention that Psychocide missing his wings is not the only difference between his appearance in the astral plane and the way he looks in the Earth realm. The few times we have seen him in Book one and the story taking place in CKS Chronicles (Which is currently on hiatus) he has been fleshy, sleek, and occasionally wearing a form fitting dark shirt. Here on Earth, he has fur, conventional clothing, boots, and broken shackles on his wrist. The most obvious transformation is his resemblance to Ego. There could be several reasons for this. Maybe Ego isn't a unique aberration. Perhaps he comes from another reality with a planet of anthropomorphic rabbits? I will give you this... Cerebrus did not remove his wings.

As for Cerebrus and his past. I'm trying to save most of it for his entry into the Cast section. But, I'll give a brief recap. I'll put it in the comic's blog section located in the menu at the top of the page.

Wow. Somebody got his hide handed to him. But I have to admire the guy for managing to still look pretty tough and defiant in spite of his, er, missing appendages.

Good job on the music cues.

You people see that purple reality shifting effect behind them? Well get used to it because that shit is an astral virus that has now infested your dreams. I hear soaking your hair in grape juice for a few days will clear that right up. Too bad, baldies!
